If you are not familiar with Joe, he is the man responsible for having brought Arnold Schwarzenegger to the United States from Austria. In addition, for many years he published Muscle and Fitness, Flex, Men's Fitness and Shape magazine.

He was also the co-founder of the International Federation of Bodybuilders, which is the biggest organized organization in bodybuilding.
The IFBB sponsors such prestigious events as the Mr. Olympia and Ms. Olympia contest each year. Consequently, many different exercise principles were published and named "The Weider Principles."
